Actors support Obama, encourage students to vote
“Barack Obama is our hope. He is our change. He is our future,” Quinto told a group of about 200 students gathered in the Ceddia Union Building at Shippensburg University.

Seen on the NBC show “Heroes,” Quinto said he supports Obama because he is the only candidate who has not accepted special interest campaign contributions and he is the only candidate who comes from a grassroots background.

Dickinson College has uploaded video of Zach and Dulé’s speeches.

American-Election has a report from Zachary and Dulé Hill’s visit to Lehigh University earlier today.

Zachary Quinto reminded students that voting is one of the most important decisions that they can make, especially in this historic and exciting election. Zachary believes that Barack Obama is the only hope that the future generation has to unite what has become a divided country. He told the crowd:

“Barack Obama brings people together because he knows that we are the foundation of this country. He wants to empower us. He wants to get everyone involved in the political process and system. And he can lead us into the future.”

Tomorrow, March 18, Zachary and Dulé Hill (Psych, The West Wing) will be speaking in support for Barack Obama at Dickinson College (11:30 am), Shippensburg University (1:15pm), and York College of Pennsylvania (3pm).

Zachary will be one of the performers at Upright L.A. Cabaret’s show “Life IS a Cabaret” on Friday, April 18, at the Viceroy Hotel, Palm Springs. The event will benefit The Trevor Project, the “nation’s only 24/7 crisis & suicide prevention helpline for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.” Visit The Trevor Project for more information and to purchase event tickets.
